Using Caseware templates is not a prerequisite to using Sherlock. Sherlock mines data from all Caseware engagements, regardless of template, and also offers capabilities for you to define how you store key data points, such as risks and controls, so that the Sherlock platform can apply the proper structure and organization for you to leverage your analysis.
You can view engagement data in Caseware Sherlock when you meet the following requirements: 1. You are an active Hybrid Cloud user with a Sherlock Builder or Sherlock Reader license. 2. The engagement file has been published to Caseware Cloud. 3. You have the Read permission in the entity where the engagement file is stored.
Storage of data (data-at-rest) is encrypted using the same high level of encryption as online banking.
