Deployment of the Reports Additional Data Source

The software will be delivered in a download package and contains the following components in the SAP Components\SmartExporter SAP Components\DataSources directory.

• Data Dictionary files for the SmartExporter Windows client in the Dictionary folder.

  Upon installation of a new SmartExporter Windows client, the current Data Dictionaries are installed automatically. Only use the Data Dictionary files from the Dictionary folder if new or updated Additional Data Sources are deployed between two SmartExporter releases.

• A separate folder Report for the Report Additional Data Source. The folder contains:

  • A Transport folder containing the transport files
  • A DataRequest folder containing Data Request templates for the SmartExporter Windows client

Note:

- As an alternative to the transport, the Additional Data Source Reports can be installed as an Add-On as of SmartExporter SAP® components 8. The Reports Add-On is located in the SmartExporter SAP Components\AddOn\Report directory. It is a prerequisite that the SmartExporter SAP® components have also been installed as Add-On.

- The Reports Add-On contains all reports of the Additional Data Source Reports. In addition the generic report call is included.

- The Reports Add-On is located in the /AUDICREP/ namespace.

- Unlike the SmartExporter SAP® components Add-On, the Reports Add-On is not certified by SAP SE.
