Validate client responses
The Verity response validation agent can help you check that clients have sent what you asked for. Use it to identify missing or incorrect documents and information before you accept a response.
What Verity checks
When a client submits a response, Verity reviews it in the background, so the result is waiting for you when you open the request question.
If your firm goes beyond its standard usage limits, validation switches to manual. Select Start Reviewing to check a response.
Verity reports its progress in the Tool activity panel as it reads the response, then checks relevance, completeness and readability. It evaluates the following:
-
Does the response address the request?
-
Is the response complete?
-
Is it readable and usable?
-
Were the right number of documents uploaded?
Verity supports PDF, Word, Excel and image files.
Review the results
When Verity doesn't find a problem, it confirms that the response meets the request and you can accept it.
When Verity finds a problem, it reports what it found and suggests a response you can send to the client.
For example, where an invoice was uploaded in answer to a request for prior year bank statements, Verity reports that the wrong document type was uploaded and that the document period does not match the engagement year, then drafts a reply asking for the correct document.
Add the suggested response as a comment and return the request question. Verity reviews the response again when the client resubmits.
