Rules for importing Clients and Groups

You can import client and group lists together or separately. If these components are in separate files you can perform the import procedure normally. If these components are in a single file you can:

Import only one component
Import both components

In either case, you must specify which records are clients and which records are groups. The import file must have a column that identifies this distinction. This can be an existing column in your import file or you may have to manually add a column to your import file that indicates a record is a client or group.

In the import wizard you can specify the column that identifies each component.
