Troubleshooting Identification Codes
Do not use the following characters in identification codes or numbers in Time.

Affected identification numbers include:
| Client ID, Name and Short name | User name |
| Group ID, Name and Short name | Contact ID |
| Invoice number | Reference number |
| Deposit number | Account number |
| Receipt number | Credit note number |
| Interest ID | Predicates |
- Project, Subproject, Office and Department type codes
- Work, billing and classification code numbers
For additional characters that cause problems during synchronization, the best practice is to avoid using all of those characters in the IDs as well.
