NetWeaver® RFC DLLs for the communication between SmartExporter and SAP® system

Classic RFC DLLs no longer supported

Starting with SmartExporter 2026 R1, for communication between SmartExporter and the SAP® system when running in online mode, only the NetWeaver® RFC DLLs will be supported. Classic RFC DLLs, which could be used as an alternative in previous versions, are no longer supported.

The NetWeaver® RFC DLLs are deployed in the SmartExporter setup and are automatically stored to the correct directory during installation. This means that no manual steps are required to copy the necessary NetWeaver® RFC DLLs to the correct directory.
