Notes for the SAP® administrator - (Additional Data Source General)

For this table, the system first checks whether the value entered as Report name/Transaction is a transaction. If this is the case, the user needs the authorization to execute this transaction. If it is a report, the assigned authorization group is used to check whether the user has the necessary permissions to run the report.

As of SmartExporter SAP® components version 8, only reports or SAP® transactions that have been previously entered by the SAP® administrator in the reports whitelist /AUDIC/SE_REPORTS can be called. Otherwise, the SmartExporter end user will receive a corresponding error message when checking the Data Request.

If authorization checks are to be performed for table /AUDIC/SE_SA38 for specific SmartExporter end users, this can only be done via SmartExporter authorization profiles activated in Customizing and not via the standard SAP® authorization check.

For these tables the authorization for the transaction codes RZ10, RZ11, SPFPAR, SA38 and SE38 is checked. If the user does not have the authorization to run at least one of these transactions, a corresponding error message will be displayed.

RSPFPAR is the SAP® report which is used.

To be able to use this report it has to be specified using the /AUDIC/SE_REPORTS transaction in the corresponding profile, see also topic Whitelist for reports and transaction codes (/AUDIC/SE_REPORTS transaction).

For this table the read permission of tables STXH and STXL is checked according to SmartExporter Customizing settings. If the user does not have the authorization, a corresponding error message will be displayed.

For this table the read permission of the DBTABLOG table is checked according to SmartExporter Customizing settings. If the user does not have the authorization, a corresponding error message will be displayed.

Only the change records of the tables (TABNAME field) for which the user has the corresponding table authorization are extracted.
