Debugging

You can use the debugging function for audit tests, Standard Import Routines or workflows. If one of these content objects is open, the corresponding icon will be displayed.

The debugging functions help you to check your routines for bugs. You can check your routines step by step to locate problems. The debugging itself is done in the debugger of the program in which you have created the routine.

Select the IDEA project containing the database you want to tag. If you want to check a Standard Import Routine, select the IDEA project in which you want to import the database. Click the arrow to display a list of all available IDEA projects. The selection of projects enables you to check audit tests against different files.

Step-by-Step

  1. Open an audit test or a Standard Import Routine.
  2. Select an IDEA project.
  3. Select the language for which the audit test, the Standard Import Routine or the workflow was created.
  4. Click Start. A window is displayed listing all routines contained in the selected content object.
