Manage Special Routines

In this dialog box you can select the routines which will be run before, after or during the import. Only select the routines for specific tasks. You should select the routines belonging to the general data preparation process in the Preliminary Routine and Preparation Routine fields.

A routine that is running during the import is used to determine the periods the files are assigned to and to move the files to a corresponding subfolder.

Step-by-Step

  1. Double-click the Display Name field and enter a name for the routine. This name will be displayed in SmartAnalyzer (in the Prepare Imported Datadialog box).
  2. To select an IDEA macro or a C# routine double-click the Routine field. Click the icon and select the routine.
  3. Define whether the routine will be run before, after or during the data import. To do this double-click in the Execution Point field and select the corresponding option using the arrow. The routines will be run in the same order in which they are listed. Nevertheless the routines with Before Import as run time will be run before the import. Routines with the same run time will be run in the same order in which they are listed.
  4. You can apply your entries by clicking Apply and Close.

Click Cancel to discard your entries.
