Removing a Tab Marker

1. Drag the pointer to select the paragraphs in which you want to clear or move a tab marker.
2. Drag the tab marker off the horizontal ruler and into the document.

• When selecting paragraphs with different tab stops, they appear in gray on the ruler. These are considered "indeterminate" tab stops and can be cleared or moved as necessary.
• You can move or clear a tab stop in selected paragraphs. Removing tab markers on the horizontal ruler can alter the position of text and cells in the paragraph if tab characters () are present within the paragraph.
