Automation of content items
SmartAnalyzer enables you to automate audit tests and call workflows from an IDEAScript. In both cases the internal ID of the content item is required. This internal ID is structured like a GUID. It clearly identifies a content item across apps.
The App Automation Power Tool allows you to simply copy the required ID. In the first step select the app that contains the content item. If an app is available in several languages and you want to automate all languages, all language-specific apps have to be available on your development computer because the IDs are not only app-specific but also language-specific.
Note
If you use an app via automation and call the app workflow, the Data View and Home links are not shown in the toolbar.
