What’s new in Verity—2026-08

July and August 2026 updates

This update covers Verity changes released from July 6 to August 10, 2026. It combines six weekly releases into one update. Weekly updates resume after this release.

More focused responses

Verity now provides more concise responses that stay closer to the source material in your engagement. This improvement also applies to Verity for Excel.

Filter disclosure checklist questions

After a disclosure checklist run completes, you can filter the checklist to show:

  • All questions

  • Unreviewed questions

  • Questions where the AI suggestion differs from the confirmed response

Resolved issues

  • Verity could not retrieve content from non-English custom knowledge bases.

  • Open full article links in Caseware help citations could open the documentation home page instead of the cited article.

  • Runs that processed large amounts of data could stop without returning an answer or error.

  • Long descriptions for referenced risks, controls or procedures could hide part of the content and the View Control link.

  • Reopening a long chat shows a progress message instead of the completed response.

  • Verity is available in engagements that have been locked down.
