Does Working Papers support imports from Sage 50 Canadian Edition 2020?

In Working Papers 2018 and 2019, Sage 50 Canadian Edition 2020 isn’t listed in the import dialog. Does Working Papers support imports from this version?

Yes, Working Papers 2018 and 2019 support imports from Sage 50 Canadian Edition 2020. To perform the import, you must first complete the following prerequisites for your version of Working Papers:

To import to Working Papers 2019:

  1. On the ribbon, click Engagement | Import | Accounting Software....
  2. In the Import - Accounting Software dialog, click the Version drop-down menu and select 2019.1 - 2019.3. This selection includes support for the 2020 version.
  3. Complete the remainder of the import process.

To import to Working Papers 2018:

  1. Log into MyCaseWare.
  2. Select Support Downloads | Working Papers.
  3. In the Support Downloads list, select Working Papers 2018 Hotfix for Sage 50 2019/2019.1. Download the file and complete the installation process as described on the download page.
  4. Open Working Papers. On the ribbon, click Engagement | Import | Accounting Software....
  5. In the Import - Accounting Software dialog, click the Version drop-down menu and select 2019.1. This selection includes support for the 2020 version.
  6. Complete the remainder of the import process.

After installing the hotfix to Working Papers 2018, you can perform additional imports using the same version selection.
