Displaying the correct comparative information

Problem:

I'm trying to compare the current first quarter to the prior year endbalance. Instead the comparative shows as the prior year first quarter.How do I get the correct data to show?

Solution:

 

  1. In the document properties (Click Document | Properties.) select the drop-down list next to the Balances field and choose Active/Comparative.
    A new dialog should appear called Balance source.
  2. Select the appropriate comparative. If required, you can select up to two comparatives.
