Linking Other Basis Adjustments Through Connector
Problem:
Is it possible to link "Other Basis Adjustments" into Excel and Word using Connector? The option does not appear in the drop-down list.
Solution:
Connector will allow this linkage, but the code must be entered manually into an existing linkage equation. Link the selected period balance for the selected account as normal. Click the cell and note the equation above. The switch OBA must be added to the period section of the equation to show only the Other Basis Adjustments. For example, the current year balance for account 101 will have ACT("YR0","101") showing in the equation. Modify the period section "YR0" to show ACT("OBA:YR0","101").
