1. What is eDelivery?
- Fast, convenient, and easy to use, CaseWare’s eDelivery service provides the easiest and fastest way to receive full-version updates of CaseWare software.
2. How do I get Working Papers 2011?
- Someone in your office should have been designated as the CaseWare License Administrator. The administrator will receive email notification about the release of Working Papers 2011 when it becomes available, including a link to download the software. Please contact your administrator to receive a copy of the installation file.
3. Why do I need an internet connection to install the software?
- When the software is first installed, identifying information is transferred to the eDelivery server to activate your installation.
4. What if we have multiple installations?
- In the scenario where more than one user needs access to the installation file, the license administrator should download the software once and then distribute it accordingly. A forwarded download link or notification email may not work.
5. I am the administrator and the link to download Working Papers that you sent me has expired, what can I do?
- OR -
6. My CaseWare Administrator forwarded a copy of the email with the link and it has expired, what do I do?
- The license administrator should download the software once and then forward the installation file to the users. Once the software has been downloaded, it can be installed at any time afterwards; it is only the download link that expires.
- The administrator should keep a copy of the installation file to install on other employees’ machines and for backup purposes. This practice will save time. If a copy of the installation file isn’t accessible, please contact eDelivery@caseware.com to request that the link be reset.
- The license administrator should ensure that your firm does not exceed the number of licensed users.
7. I’m prompted for my authorization code, please assist.
- There are 2 common reasons why this licensing dialog would be displayed.
- The first is that the name of the downloaded file has been changed. Rename the file back to its original name (you will find the file name in your eDelivery email) or delete the file and download it again.
- The second common cause is that your computer does not have an internet connection or it may be partially blocked due to a firewall. Contact your IT department to see if a workaround can be found or contact support@caseware.com for other options.
8. Is the download link transferable?
- No, the download link is specific to your firm.
