Drill Down and Expanding to more detail
Problem:
How can I get more information about where a balance or similar piece of information is coming from?
Solution:
Did you know that you can jump quickly from an item listed in reports or browse windows to the actual item itself?
"Drill-down" is a navigation shortcut that zooms the user from a line in a document or browse to the supporting document or transaction detailing it. To drill-down:
- While viewing the document or browse, place the cursor over the item in which you're interested.
If the supporting information is available to review, the cursor changes from an arrow to a hand. - Double-click that line.
- Keep "drilling down" until you get to the reference you're looking for.
