Dates in Financial Statements
Problem:
The dates in the financial statements show as "Wednesday, December 31, 20XX"rather than "December 31, 20XX". How can I fix this?
Solution:
The date is set to read the regional settings in Windows. You have two choices: you can change the option to not use the regional settings for the date in the Financial statement options or you can change the regional settings in Windows.
To change the regional settings in Windows:
- Click the Start button for Windows 98/2000/XP. Place your cursor at the bottom of your screen to reveal the Windows Taskbar.
- Click the Start button.
- Select Control Panel.
- Select Regional and Language Options and then click the Regional options tab.
- Select the appropriate short and long dates formats
Click Apply to make the changes and OK to close the dialog.
