Alain Soublière to Showcase Proactive Auditing Techniques for IIA Canada Webinar Series

As part of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Canada 2012 webinar series, Alain Soublière, Product Manager at CaseWare IDEA Inc., will be presenting a French-language webinar on cutting edge statistical methods developed in partnership with Dr. Mark Nigrini. These techniques, namely Correlation, Trend Analysis, Time Series Analysis, and new Benford’s Law tests, represent the current push beyond standard fraud tests toward proactive auditing.
Participants will see first-hand the analytical potential of these methods in the Audit industry and walk away with practical knowledge on:
- Gauging the relationship between variables using Correlation.
- Extrapolating the past into the future with Trend Analysis to compare current and anticipated results.
- Interpreting the temporal ordering of data with Time Series Analysis.
- Spotting audit anomalies using tasks based on Benford’s Law.
