Position Title: Solution Delivery Specialist (ID: TS053)
Location: Toronto, Ontario

This is an exciting position in a growing unit of the organization. Working with the Product Managers, you will interact remotely with distributors and our customers’ IT staff all over the world.

You must be willing to tenaciously seek the best solutions for our customers to ensure business and technical requirements are fulfilled in a thorough manner. In addition, you must be comfortable working with non-technical staff.

If you enjoy implementing software within corporate networks, working with people from various backgrounds and facing various technologies from virtualization to accessing databases via a command prompt, this position is for you!

Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Client Technical Support: Point of contact as clients use, deploy, run and support their applications.

  • Perform deployment services
  • Diagnose and manage operational software issues
  • Report on incidents and help prepare root-cause analyses
  • Perform testing and acceptance test on customer environment
  • Occasionally provide tier 3 technical support

 

Distributor Support: Help our distributors to understand and sell our software

  • Join conference calls with prospects.
  • Help producing documentation
  • Remotely Deploy software in distributor environments
  • Skillfully manage clients and guide partners through difficult situations

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical support, sales or performed related research during studies.
  • Self-motivated, with proven ability to own problems through resolution
  • Knowledge of database technologies
  • Must be able to understand multi-tier system architectures.
  • Have technical analysis and debugging skills.

 

Personal profile

  • Able to work in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
  • You need to love technology, especially when its complex.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, equally effective with both engineers and business people.
  • Able to work with people from various cultural backgrounds
  • Bilingual in French, Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
